Fatigue - 100 Word Microfiction Challenge
My goal for 2025 was to publish something once a week. COVID did me in last week. The article I wrote while sick is a mess. I will publish two things this weekend. Here is this in the meantime.
A warehouse full of boxes that contain little spaces of inspiration. Lift the lid and find a dragon or a bounty hunter or a forbidden love affair. Try to organize them into a line from one end of the room to the other. The story is too complicated and overly incoherent. Need to clean up before the supervisor sees me. Thoughts muddled by COVID fog and the choice to open too many boxes. Some days feel like a lack of ambition. Push through or try something new. These things take time but too much time already missing. Try again tomorrow.
